| With the release of Secure Gateway for MetaFrame 2.0, Citrix has added a few management tools to make administration and troubleshooting issues a bit easier. They have added a Management Console to monitor Secure Gateway connections and a Diagnostics Utility to help troubleshoot possible connection issues. The Secure Gateway for MetaFrame Management Console is managed from a locally ran MMC Snap-In. The Secure Gateway Management Console allows administrators to monitor active HTTP connections, monitor and control active ICA connections, display Gateway configuration, display Gateway Performance Monitor counters and launch the Gateway Configuration Utility. The Secure Gateway for MetaFrame Management Console allows administrators to monitor and mange the following. - Monitor active HTTP connections
- Current sessions
- bytes sent/received
- Monitor and control active ICA connections
- Shows username
- Application name
- MetaFrame XP Server name
- Display Gateway configuration
- Display Gateway Performance Monitor counters
- Launch the Gateway Configuration Utility
*Not available on the Gateway Proxy The Secure Gateway for MetaFrame Management Console can be launched by clicking Start click Programs click Citrix Click Secure Gateway click Secure Gateway Management Console. 
The Gateway diagnostic tool displays configuration details and checks all inter-component links. The Gateway Diagnostic Tool quickly summarizes all configuration options for the gateway service and marks potential problems with a warning icon. The following defines how to launch the Secure Gateway for MetaFrame Diagnostics Utility. 1. From the server running the Secure Gateway service click Start click Programs click Citrix Click Secure Gateway click Secure Gateway Diagnostics. 2. An analysis is run and you will be presented with the results. If you experience issues you will be able to expand the appreciate node to view more information that will help with searching Citrixs knowledgebase and with any calls to Citrix support and or a Citrix certified engineer.
